Part-Time Clerical Position

Job Description
NHASEA is seeking an energetic, responsible individual who has an interest and passion for the field of special education. Preferred candidate should have a passion for working with children and youth who are unique learners. The candidate will be expected to be an active member of the NHASEA office and take part in the day to day activities of the organization.


  • Assist in performing clerical duties such as organizing conference materials, photocopying materials, making name tags etc.
  • Assist with updating the NHASEA website and related social media
  • Research and gather documents as requested by administration
  • Assist with planning and set up for varied NHASEA meetings and professional development offerings
  • Attend and assist at NHASEA conferences and professional development offerings as requested by NHASEA administration

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Constant Contact, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy working with people
  • Self-directed and able to work with supervision from the NHASEA office staff
  • Energetic and eager to join the field of special education

Time Commitment

  • Will consider half year applicant
  • Will begin as soon as possible (start date negotiable) and end June 30, 2020 (end date negotiable)
  • 12 hours per week at $12.00 per hour, not to exceed $7,000.00 for the remaining of the 2019-2020 school year
  • Schedule is flexible to include on-site in office work
