New Career Special Education Administrators Institute

2023-2024 Cohort

This cohort of new leaders will continue their work with the Institute, with fewer days of support, still focused on the strands of:

• Coaching: Each Special Education Administrator enrolled in the Year II Institute will have the option of being provided with a trained coach to assist with goal setting, support, networking and guidance.
• Leadership Development: Continued strengthening of administrative skills that results in improved teaching and learning for students with IEP’s.
• Special Education Processes: Efficient operational and compliance oversight to improve outcomes for students with IEP’s and support to their families. Also included are important topics such as budgeting, grant oversight, NHSEIS, personnel requirements, Special Education Indicators and more.
• Problems of Practice: Discussion, problem solving, networking, and sharing of resources related.  

Registration for This Professional Learning Offering is Free to Special Education Administrators Who Participated in the NHASEA 2023-2004 Institute for New Special Education Administrators. Institute includes full registration and a trained Coach through the NHASEA

Session Dates and Times:

Institute attendees are expected to attend full and half day sessions, October– May. The attendees will be supported by their mentor in-between each session.
