This one-day conference brings together Public Charter School leaders, LEA’s, and the NHED to learn, collaborate and explore practical strategies for developing and fostering positive systems of behavioral support. The focus will be on students with IEP’s who demonstrate complex behaviors, mental health challenges and those with social and emotional learning needs. Join us as we focus on the legal responsibilities of LEA’s and public charter schools, systemic supports, best practice, behavior interventions and creating positive and inclusive learning environments. What to Expect:
- Engage in panel discussions with legal experts and practitioners who specialize in student behaviors.
- Collaborate, problem solve and learn about the importance of multi-tiered systems of support for students with complex behaviors.
- Discover resources and strategies for strengthening communication and collaboration between the NHED, LEA’s and Public Charter Schools.
- Participate in real time professional growth, conversation, networking and sharing of knowledge and expertise.
