Written Prior Notice (WPN)

A written prior notice is one of the most important documents in special education, yet it remains one of the most difficult documents to get right. Join the Drummond Woodsum’s special education legal team, for this interactive workshop designed to address these essential and lingering questions about written prior notices:

  • When must a written prior notice be issued?
  • What information must be included in the written prior notice?
  • Why does it all matter? A look at how written prior notices have been used in recent court cases.

Participants will also have an opportunity to practice drafting written prior notices for complex situations.
