Special Education Building Coordinators PLC

Join Special Education Building Coordinators as they focus upon “Leading Teams by Fostering and Prompting Positive Professional Interactions” collective learning, networking, and collegial support by sharing and learning centered on best practices. We will begin the year with the CEC video “Administrators: Helping New Special Education Teachers Thrive in the Classroom.” This PLC meets regularly to:

  • Improve skills and knowledge of Special Education building level leaders through collaborative study, exchange of expertise and professional dialog
  • Provide a collegial group that builds support for one another, where members access support through ongoing electronic communication and technical assistance between meetings
  • Strengthen aspirations, achievement and attainment of students through strong leadership
  • Focus upon collective inquiry on best practices and realities of Special Education Leadership at the building level
  • Strengthen and build relationships through networking with building colleagues to foster student growth as we re-enter school
  • Develop leadership by fostering and promoting positive professional team interactions
  • Optimize professional collaboration and build relationships

The platform for this PLC includes both remote and in –person meetings to allow an opportunity to meet one another as well as participation via zoom.

Cost:

$300.00 NHASEA Member / $350.00 Non-Member

Location:  See schedule below for those sessions which will be held In-Person at the NHASEA Office, 25 Triangle Park Drive, Concord, NH.  All other sessions will be conducted virtually via Zoom.  Based on any developing COVID-19 restrictions NHASEA reserves the right to pivot all professional learning opportunities to a remote platform.
