Designed to Strengthen Student Services
Connect with colleagues, share best practices and resources, ,problem-solve common challenges, and strengthen leadership capacity while responding to the evolving needs of students and families.
Through regularly scheduled PLC meetings, participants will engage in discussion centered on current issues, policies, emerging trends, information shared at the state and federal levels, and effective practices in student services. As determined by the facilitator and attendees, the PLC will feature presentations and conversations with experts from the field on topics such as:
- Section 504 compliance and implementation
- Title IX
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)/ Multilingual Learners
- School Counseling
- School Nursing and Health Services
- School Transportation
- Court Involved and/or Foster Children
- Title I
- McKinney-Vento Homeless Education
- Crisis Response and School Safety
- Other timely topics identified by the PLC participants
